BASE’s Whatabout Wednesdays’ vegan mini-cafe has a special solidarity offer for #IWD2023 on 8th March – a free portion of cake for any women that’d like some (until it runs out!).
Whatabout Wednesdays’ is open every Wednesday, 11-5pm, from 2 November upto 21 December, and then from 4 January 2023 onwards.
– areas open are cafe, events room/infoshop, library + toilets, wifi & info.
– Food: hot drinks (50p), cake (£1), soup/bread (£1), but nobody turned away for lack of funds.
– this is a chilled alternative welcoming space, so come and hang out, read, work, get fed, socialise etc.
Open every Wednesday, 11-5pm, from 2 November upto 21 December, and then from 4 January 2023 onwards until 31 May 2023 (after this date the cafe will take a break, and intends to return in November 2023 for the winter session).
The BASE Whatabout Wednesdays is a mini-cafe and warm welcoming space for all and any who would like to use it.
It’s probably Bristol’s cheapest vegan weekly cafe…and if you have no money it’s free!
– areas open at BASE are cafe, events room/infoshop, library, toilets + free wifi.
– Food: hot drinks (50p), cake (£1), soup/bread (£1) – donations based.
Come for as long as you like, use the facilities, hang out and chat/network, or even do some work/study in a quiet space.
