There’s a packed lineup at Kebele social centre as our NovemberFest hits it’s 4th weekend, with plenty more to come!
As well as the ‘Libres’ performance on Friday 13th at 7pm, and the participatory workshop ‘Songs & stories of resistance’ on Sunday 15th from 1-5pm (details of both here), here’s what else is on, plus at the end we have a few date changes:
Sunday 15th from 5-6.30pm – ‘Wellbeing’ meeting/discussion looking at how activists can take better care of themselves, and whether or not there are enough people with the necessary skills to form a ‘support network’ for activists who are struggling with the day-to-day realities of activism & life?
Sunday 15th from 6:30pm – the weekly Sunday Social vegan dinner (suggested donation £2.50-£3.50 for 2/3 courses, but nobody turned away because they are skint!).
Followed at 7.30pm by the film ‘This Changes Everything‘ which was inspired by the Naomi Klein book of the same name, and is directed by her partner. Let’s hope it does!
Monday 16th from 7-10pm – it’s Mellow Monday again. A space to hang out, read books, drink tea, play board games. Shiatsu tasters also available.
Tuesday 17th from 7-9pm – Bristol Rising Tide introduce a discussion: ‘What is Happening at COP21?‘ We will discuss the politics of climate justice in this participatory workshop.
