Bristol solidarity with imprisoned anarchists in Indonesia
📅 Save the dates: two solidarity events will take place over a weekend in March to raise funds and spread awareness about incarcerated comrades in Indonesia
Friday March 13, 9pm-2am: Fundraiser gig at The Plough Easton featuring jungle, techno, rap, ska and punk acts. £5 donation for entry (no one will be turned away for lack of funds). All proceeds going to prisoner support.
Sunday March 15, 6-8:30pm: Infonight at BASE. Talk and video after our weekly dinner café (PWYC vegan meal). Find out about the ‘Chaos Star’ frame-up of more than 70 accused anarchists.
Hope to see you there – solidarity with prisoners and anarchists around the world 🖤✊
Want to build solidarity and get involved with Bad Apple? Come to our open meeting on Thursday 26th February at 6.30pm!
It was so wonderful seeing some of you at our first open meeting at the start of the month — we want to keep the momentum going! We’ll start to plan our next events based on the ideas everyone generated to:
❗️build Congolese solidarity in Bristol ❗️challenge our tech and overall consumption in the West ❗️grow knowledge on the historical / political context of the Democratic Republic of Congo
Come along! You don’t have to have been to our last meeting, any time you give is valuable
Please message @badapple_bristol if you have any questions or needs before the meeting & we look forward to welcoming you < 3
We are working on having a safe virtual link for future meetings if you can’t make the meetings in-person.
