This week’s drop in is cancelled
We will be back on the 16th April
If you need injecting supplies in the meantime you can try:
NSP Direct: Order injecting supplies free online
Bristol Drugs Project: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm and Saturday 9:30am – 1:00pm – bdp.org.uk. They don’t stock all of the same needles that we give out, but they have a bigger range in general. They are very willing to help people using DIY HRT. Step-free access available.
PRISM: Every Thursday, 5 – 8pm – LGBT+ Drugs and Alcohol service. PRISM takes place at Bristol Drugs Project and is their LGBT+ specific service, which some people might prefer. bdp.org.uk/get-support/targeted-support/prism-lgbtq/
Local pharmacy needle exchanges: wearewithyou.org.uk . These may have a smaller range of needles compared to Dandelion and Bristol Drugs Project. Pharmacy needle exchanges may give out packs. An intravenous drug injection pack may be suitable for subcutaneous injections, and a steroid injection pack is suitable for intramuscular injections. Always seek support if you are unsure.
Buy online: exchangesupplies.org – this is where we buy all our injecting supplies. They have discreet packaging.
The green and red arrow on a yellow background signposts needle and syringe programmes (needle exchanges). Needle and syringe programmes will also give out sharps bins and other injecting equipment, and accept used injecting equipment in sharps bins for disposal.
We encourage you to dispose of your used injecting equipment safely by taking it to a needle and syringe programme.
