Come meet and hear from visiting comrades from Colombia.

The purpose of this talk is to analyze Colombia’s current political
context, with a focus on the role of social movements during the
national strike and protests from 2019 to 2021. The discussion will
emphasize how cultural agents, by bridging the arts and cultural spaces,
played a crucial role in these mobilizations. Special attention will be
given to how the creation and participation in such spaces became key
practices for defending human rights and reclaiming the streets.
